The Fastrack network is split into three fare zones to make paying for your journey easy to understand. The zones are shown on the diagram opposite and the prices of single and return tickets are:

Return tickets are valid at any time during the same day as the outward journey.
Short hop
Short hop fares (£1 single or £1.90 return) are available. Typically these cover travel over a distance of approximately one-mile - please see information at your Fastrack stop for details of short hop fares.
Early Bird
Before 7am Monday to Saturdays the maximum adult fare for any single journey is £1.50 or £3.00 for any return journey.
Happy Max
After 7pm in the evening and all day on Sundays and Public Holidays the maximum adult fare for a single journey is £1.80 (90p child) or for a return £3.00 (£1.50 child).
Fastrack tickets
Fastrack single and return tickets may be purchased from the driver or from ticket machines at selected stops along the Fastrack busways. (Please note that ticket machines on Route A do not give change. Credit / debit cards can be used for purchases over £5 at ticket machines on Route B.)
Arriva day, weekly and four-weekly tickets
In addition to the above, Arriva day, weekly and four-weekly tickets are valid for travel on both Fastrack Routes A and B. These tickets may be purchased from the driver; from Arriva travel shops in Dartford and Gravesend; from the Bluewater travel centre; online here; and, at ticket machines at selected stops along Fastrack Route B busways and at Gravesend, Bluewater and in the Darent Valley Hospital foyer.

Child fare entitles those aged between 5 and 16 to travel for half the adult single or return fare or up to 2 children can travel for 30p single each when accompanied by 2 passengers paying full adult fare. Children up to the age of 5 are carried free when accompanied by a fare payer.
Please note that child fares are not available before 0900am on Monday - Friday (except public holidays).
National Concession passes, issued to persons over 60 or registered as disabled (including the London Freedom Pass), can be used for boarding Fastrack buses between 0900-2300hrs Monday - Friday and all day on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Outside of these times full adult fare will be charged.
The Kent Freedom Pass, which offers free bus travel for qualifying school students, is accepted on Fastrack. (For details of the Kent Freedom Pass click here).
